Sarah is a capable, well organised Family Lawyer with a keen attention to detail.
Before joining the team at Kim Wilson & Co Family Lawyers in January in 2010, Sarah worked for another leading specialist Family Law Firm in Perth.
Sarah completed her Advanced Diploma in Business (Legal Practice) at TAFE in 2006 and graduated from Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2010.
Sarah also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the College of Law Australia which was completed in 2011.
Sarah was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2011. Since then Sarah has worked as a Lawyer exclusively in the Family Law area.
Sarah works closely with the Directors, Family Lawyers and Law Clerks at Kim Wilson & Co Family Lawyers to achieve cost effective outcomes for her clients.
On 1 May 2015 Sarah was appointed an Associate at Kim Wilson & Co Family Lawyers.
Sarah is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia and is a Law Reform Working Group subcommittee member for the Women’s Lawyers of Western Australia. Sarah is also part of the panel of authors for CCH Australia in respect to Family Law in Western Australia.
Sarah is a capable and well organised Family Lawyer who strives to provide her clients with professional and concise advice in a cost effective manner. She has undertaken many years of study which has allowed her to assist clients with Legal Services across all areas of Family Law including Child Welfare, Property Settlement, Child Support and Spousal Maintenance.
Sarah has great empathy for her clients and is determined to achieve the best possible outcome for them. She understands that her clients are experiencing what is likely to be one of the most difficult and stressful periods of their lives.
Sarah’s approach to Family Law disputes is to minimise the pressure and stress placed on her clients by offering practical and cost effective solutions, with the knowledge that litigation should be used as a last resort.
Sarah has experience in Mediation Style Conferences and is able to assist her clients to achieve a practical outcome in this environment. If proceedings are necessary, Sarah is experienced in conducting Interim Hearings and Trials on behalf of her clients in the Family Court of Western Australia.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys Yoga to keep her balanced. She is also an animal lover.
