Nicola has a solutions-based approach and aims to achieve efficient outcomes for clients.
Nicola has experience in all areas of Family Law, including financial and parenting matters. She has developed a particular interest in complex financial matters involving varied asset structures.
Nicola focuses on a common sense approach in order to achieve the right result for clients as quickly as possible.
However when litigation becomes necessary, Nicola has experience representing clients in the Family Court of Western Australia.
Nicola has also appeared as instructing Family Lawyer with several of Perth’s Senior Barristers at interim and final hearings in the Family Court of Western Australia.
Nicola commenced her studies at the University of Western Australia in 2008.
In 2009 she spent her University holidays working as an Au Pair for a family in Paris. She travelled Europe and developed her French language skills.
In 2010 Nicola started working for another specialist Family Law firm in Perth in the role of Law Clerk whilst continuing her studies.
In 2012 Nicola assisted in the preparation of the High Court appeal in the matter of Stanford v Stanford 2012 [HCA] 52 and attended Canberra for that Appeal.
In 2014 Nicola completed her Degrees in Law and Arts (Political Science and International Relations), obtained her Graduate Certificate of Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted as a Legal Practitioner in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Nicola is an elected Committee Member of Women Lawyers of Western Australia working to promote gender equality in the profession and to promote the interests of women in the community in general. She is also working with the Law Society of Western Australia on various Committees including the Young Lawyers Committee.
In her spare time Nicola enjoys reading (although you would think she has done enough of it at work), camping and a good glass of wine.
